Rehab for the Heart Meditation

Rehab for the Heart Meditation

While hunkered down during this pandemic, I felt inspired to record a meditation that has been really helpful to me over the years. I call it Rehab for the Heart, or sometimes, Gas Station for the Soul. It's a simple meditation that helps me get back into my natural rhythm, which is not fear. When I align with Love who has no ego, all I have to do is Ask, Breathe, and Receive. It reminds me of how I desire to engage with others as well. Reverently!

My hope is that this meditation assists you during this time of challenge as it has for me over the years. A microphone would have helped but sometimes we have to work with what we’ve got. So here it is, in the raw, from my couch to yours.

And as an aside, my slight distractedness at times is from my dog. With everyone home these days, we’ve all got our distractions. He was playing with a toy on the floor. Heartwarming, happy, background energy makes for good music. I think anyway.

Enjoy!

This meditation was great Trish! Thank you for sharing in these trying times. Look for Brady and I on the lake in the morning... we might make our first kayak voyage if I can push through the loose ice in our cove!

      Susan,

Thanks for commenting and for the feedback. Glad you found it helpful! Kayak meditations are the best! I'll be on the lookout! I was thinking of venturing out there myself.

      Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing this meditation. I am not a practitioner of meditation but I would like to try working it into my daily schedule. I don’t think that I am alone in feeling a need for some sedation! Thanks!

Thanks for commenting Carol! I don't think you are alone at all. Once you get the hang of meditation it's pretty easy to weave in.

I'm here if you have questions,

Hi and Thank You. This brought back a lot of memories of our work together. Thank God I found you when my brother was dying. I don’t know how I would have grieved with grace if it wasn’t for you ??

      Jane,

Hi and you are most welcome. With grace you did. And you were right there with him with grace all the way to the gate.

      Blessings,

      Trish

Trish, this is wonderful. I'm so grateful that you are in my universe. You're right of course - doing this multiple times a day changes everything. Lighter, brighter, and wiser.
