It's Solstice Time

It's Solstice Time

The Summer Solstice is this Friday. It is the longest day of the year and, consequently, the shortest night. The 3 days prior are great for doing “letting go” rituals. The day of is great for reinstating what you are working on or toward. And the 3 days after are powerful for focusing on what you would like to bring into your life personally and globally.

You can choose to be the leader of your day or let your day lead you. Personally I prefer the former. I prefer to start my day with a few desires and gratitudes; then to see what unfolds and trust that it is related. I call them my D’s and G’s. I have also tried the “doing my chores before I go out to play” approach, but when I do that the Universe just seems to bring me more chores. I believe this to be because these actions demonstrate that chores are my desire and that I am grateful for them.

What might happen if more people added who they desire to be and soul nurturing fun to their to-do lists this summer?

Anybody game?

Dr. Trish
